Rotted lakeside deck transformed into a fresh cedar walkout

About this project
A waterfront home's original deck had warped boards, peeling paint, a failing hot tub surround and unsafe railings. We stripped the old assembly back, repaired the structure, and rebuilt the lake-facing deck system in fresh cedar with new landings, stairs and guardrails.
Scope of work
- Full demolition of deteriorated deck boards and railings
- Removal of the aging recessed hot tub surround
- Structural inspection and framing repair where needed
- New cedar decking, fascia, stairs and landings
- Custom cedar railings around the full walkout perimeter
- Site cleanup and landscape protection throughout the build
