Cedar Privacy Fences & Pool Enclosures Across Norfolk & Oxford County

Privacy fences, perimeter fences, and pool-code enclosures built with concrete-set posts, properly spaced rails, and gates that still swing true after a decade of Ontario weather.

Fences by Norfolk County Construction

What's included

  • Cedar, pressure-treated, and composite options
  • Pool-code compliant enclosures
  • Custom gates with proper hardware
  • Concrete-set posts below frost line

Posts done right — the only part that matters long-term

A fence fails at the post, not the boards. We dig below frost line, set every post in concrete with a proper crown for drainage, and use pressure-treated or steel post bases rated for ground contact. Skip that step and the prettiest cedar fence in the county will start leaning by year three.

Pool-code enclosures that pass on first inspection

Pool fences in Norfolk and Oxford County have specific height, gap, and self-closing/self-latching gate requirements. We've installed dozens of pool enclosures that passed municipal inspection without callbacks, including aluminum, glass, and cedar configurations.

Custom cedar privacy and gate work

Horizontal slat, board-on-board, lattice-topped, or modern good-neighbour designs — all in western red cedar with stainless or coated fasteners. Gates are our favourite detail: solid frames, bolted hinges, and adjustable hardware so they still close in twenty years.

Property-line work done by the book

We stake the line, confirm with your locate, and talk to neighbours before we dig. No surprise survey calls, no fences three inches over the line. For larger rural perimeters we coordinate with our excavation crew to clear bush and grade the line first.
